Janis prepared a wonderful program on techniques for cut an sew.There were about 25 people who attended the meeting.Linda showed off her handdyed wool yarn.Chris brought this great rainbow colored crochet afghan to show us.Chris also brought this machine knit "sew as you go" afghan with a crochet edging.Liz showed this pink machine knit sweater. The pink yarn is a cotton rayon blend. She plaited a strand of thin acrylic on the back to add stability.Kay showed us this crochet shrugKay made this balloon style bunny by knitting in the round on her knitting machine.Kay's machine knit poncho was made with two strands of yarn run together which gave it a striped effect. The stitch pattern is a slip stitch that almost looks woven.Kay machine knit this beret from sock yarn.
